Vivo V60 Lite 5G One Day Away from Pakistani Launch; Here’s What to Expect

Vivo V60 Lite 5G is coming to Pakistan next. The teaser spree has been going on for a while, and last we checked, Vivo had posted that the phone is just one day away. So, as usual, we are here to do a pre-launch coverage to let potential buyers know what they are getting themselves into.

Surely you already know about the vanilla Vivo V60 that hit Pakistan last month. Consider the V60 Lite 5G a cheaper version of that device with a weaker chip and a missing telephoto lens. We had thought they would stick to the pattern and release a 4G version of this handset in Pakistan, but that’s not the case.

If you look at the global listing for Vivo V60 Lite, you’ll know that the 5G version, which is coming to our market, is actually bringing the new MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Ultra chip. It’s both good news and bad news. This SoC means the phone is going to be a bit pricey.

But if the pricing doesn’t worry you, this V60 Lite device may be a treat with its 4nm class 2.5GHz clock speed CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU that touches a premium tier. There’s up to 12GB RAM and at least 256GB storage. Android 15 FunTouch OS 15 is built into the latest flagship Vivo mobile

Like we said, no telephoto lens is found here. You only get a 50MP main shooter on the back plus an 8MP ultrawide, and there’s no OIS on either of these lenses. Its front selfie camera is 32MP, which is passable, but nowhere near as good as the selfie snapper on the Vivo V60.

But this is where the playing field is leveled. The Lite version has the same battery and charging speed as the original model. Vivo threw in a 90W charging kit in this phone and a 6500mAh Si/C battery that goes from 0-100% in just 52 minutes (advertised).

There’s a uni-bezel screen here, an AMOLED with an HDR10+ rating. Vivo V60 Lite is built around a 6.77” display, which maintains a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution. An IP65 rating keeps it safe from water splashes, and you have that typical fingerprint reader on the screen and a dual speaker setup. Of course, Vivo hasn’t confirmed the Lite’s price. That’s going to be revealed after the launch, so stay tuned.
