Vivo's recently introduced photography-focused V20 series is making its way to Pakistan soon, announced Vivo on its social media today. The brand hasn’t shared a release date or the pricing details yet, but we’ve seen multiple teasers already. Here’s everything you need to know about Vivo’s newest V-series, featuring the Vivo V20, V20 Pro, and V20 SE. Vivo hasn’t confirmed whether the ‘Pro’ and the ‘SE’ variant will be launching in Pakistan.

Vivo V20

Vivo takes a page out of Oppo’s book with the V20. It’s built with a focus on portrait photography and blends it with an attractive design. You’re looking at the new design language Vivo has adopted this season: a sleek gradient-filled palette, headlined by the ‘big eye’ camera layout. It has a thin 7.38mm frame and weighs only 171g.

The back of the Vivo v20 has the so-called ‘Matte Glass’ finish, available in Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, and Moonlight Sonata. On the front, there’s a 6.44” FHD+ AMOLED panel with a notch carved into it.

The other big highlight would be its camera. V20’s front-facing selfie lens is high-def 44MP and supports eye-tracking autofocus. As the name might suggest, it tracks your eyes to keep you in focus, even when you’re moving. It can record in 8K, stabilized by ‘Steadiface Selfie Video.’ You also have the ‘Selfie Softlight Band,’ a ‘Slo-Mo’ feature, Multi-style portraits, and more onboard.

Vivo V20 features a triple rear camera with a 64MP main lens, an 8MP multipurpose sensor for 120° wide-angle and macro shots, and a 2MP mono sensor. The array features a dedicated night mode, autofocus, and bokeh effects. For the internals, you have a Snapdragon 720G, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of storage — powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. It might be priced around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 65,000.

Vivo V20 SE

The more pocket-friendly variant of this duo, the Vivo V20 SE doesn’t have the new design or the elaborate eye-tracking AF, but it does come with respectable specs. The SE has a featherweight 171g and 7.83mm build — presenting a recycled, predictable look that comes in Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue.

Vivo V20 SE shares its display with the standard variant, not to mention the 33W fast charging and slightly bigger 4100 mAh battery. But Vivo has trimmed the selfie camera down to 32MP and the rear camera to 48MP.

The image processing features are ported over, however. The three-camera setup shoots in EIS-powered 4K. We expect it to start anywhere from Rs. 40,000 to 45,000 Pak rupees.

Vivo V20 Pro

Instead of SD720G, the Pro edition is powered by the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G. It also has an additional 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the front, next to the standard 44MP camera.

With a 44MP main sensor, the quality of captured photos or video will match the vast majority of the main cameras on many smartphones. In addition, it comes equipped with various technologies that will raise its quality to a higher level.

The rest of the camera setup is ported over from the base variant wholesale. As are the 6.44” AMOLED screen and the three color options. It features vapor chamber cooling under the hood for better heat management.
