Vivo V20 Launches in Pakistan with 44MP Eye Autofocus Selfie Camera; Vivo V20 SE will Follow Soon

Vivo's new V20 launched in Pakistan on schedule today. The pre-order window lasts until October 16, after which the phone goes on official sale. Highlighted by its eye-tracking autofocus feature and sleek design, the Vivo V20 takes a page out of Oppo’s book. It’s built to be a fashion statement with premium optics, but not necessarily a performance beast.

We start with Vivo V20’s 44MP front-facing camera, powered by eye-tracking autofocus. The feature follows your eyes to keep the subject focused, even when they’re moving.

You can shoot in 4K with the eye AF enabled. The image processing on V20 supports electronic image stabilization, Slo-Mo Selfies, and a dedicated night mode.

Vivo V20 has three cameras on the back: a 64MP main lens, an 8MP wide-angle/macro camera, and a 2MP mono sensor. The second lens can capture wide 120° shots and 2.5cm super macro photos. This setup has autofocus too but not the eye-tracking kind like in the Selfie sensor.

Vivo’s new design language is one of the better-looking ones. The back of the V20 has the ‘AG Matte Glass’ design. It’s glass with a matte finish to resist fingerprints and micro-scratches. The camera layout is very neat. Inspired by Vivo’s recent flagships, the main camera is placed on top of the other two sensors and bound inside a squared-off housing.

The Vivo V20 housing is split into two layers — the first one has the camera cluster, the second one encases the LED flash. You can pick from three color options: Midnight Jazz, Midnight Sonata, and Sunset Melody. Each colorway changes dynamically as light shifts around it. Finally, to round these aesthetics off, the V20 has a lightweight and slim build — 7.38mm and 171g.

V20’s display is a 6.44” full HD+ superAMOLED panel with a notch to hold the front camera. It runs on the Snapdragon 720G processor, 8GB of memory, and a 4000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The phone only comes in a 128GB storage variant and starts from Rs. 59,999. Its more budget-friendly Vivo V20 SE brother might arrive in Pakistan soon too.
