Meet Tecno Spark 8P — the latest addition to the budget Spark 8 series. It was announced quietly on Tecno Mobile’s global social media pages. But the availability and pricing details have yet to surface. We’ll take a quick look at what the Spark 8P has to offer.
Tecno Spark 8P sports an odd but familiar design. The camera island stretches across the width of the Spark 8P. It has a reflective, sunburst finish contrasting against the lined texture on the rest of the backplate. You can pick from Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple, Atlanta Blue, and Cocoa Gold options.
Three lenses and an LED flash are housed inside the oversized plate. The trio is led by a 50MP wide camera and two low-res sensors. Flip the Tecno Spark 8P over to find a tall, notched display.
Tecno's new mobile for 2021 is a 6.6” IPS LCD that delivers a 1080P and embeds an 8MP front camera inside. The screen fills a 20:9 aspect ratio and refreshes at an immersive 90Hz. We find a side thumbprint scanner and a hybrid SIM slot in the frame.
Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery and the MediaTek Helio G70 chip. No fast charging support is offered here since the power brick caps out at 10W. You get 4GB of multitasking memory and 128GB of expandable storage. Plus, Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 on top powers the Tecno Spark 8P.
