TECNO brings the Spark 8 Pro, an advanced edition of its entry-level Tecno Spark 8, originally launched at the end of August. With a more current and advanced platform, the new 'Pro' variant is positioned in the mid-range entry-level segment that attracts cost-effectiveness.
The all-new Tecno Spark 8 Pro inherits several design elements from the standard model, such as its protruding camera module with a “traffic light” look and gloss finish in the same tone as the body, however, its rear has been given a matte texture and also there is a new color option.
Moving on to the technical details, there's a 6.8-inch screen with an increased resolution to FHD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels). Its thicker bottom edge may indicate that the display uses LCD technology. There is also a dedicated hole for the 8 MP front camera.
Rear cameras are another aspect where the new Tecno Spark mobile has evolved over the simple Spark 8. There's the main lens with a 48MP sensor (f/1.79), a bokeh lens with a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and an auxiliary lens with artificial intelligence (f/2.0).
The Spark 8 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85, a chipset that operates at up to 2.0 GHz and integrates the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The set works with a unique memory configuration that combines 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
To power this hardware, there is a battery with a respectable capacity of 5,000 mAh that supports fast charging of 33 watts via USB-C, offering good autonomy to the smartphone that has Android 11. Priced at Rs. 24,999, The highlights also include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, face id support, and FM radio.
