Tecno Spark 50 5G Surfaces with Battery Specs, RAM, and Storage Options

The next season might begin with the debut of Tecno Spark 50 5G. We’ve found this newcomer on multiple listings at this point. TUV Rhineland has approved the device and added it to the database, with battery specifications. And then there’s a listing on CarlCare with the Spark 50 5G’s storage options.

The battery won’t have the same capacity in all regions. And we are starting to see this pattern on all the future Infinix and Tecno phones. This Spark 50 5G will feature two battery sizes, either 5,990 mAh or 6,340 mAh. They are region-specific rated capacity numbers.

Tecno will probably round those figures to typical 6,150 mAh and 6,500 mAh batteries. Anyway, TUV had very limited info, and nothing besides the name and battery was of any interest. CarlCare is the post-sales services partner for Tecno, and it has also listed the Spark 50 5G.

CarlCare actually gave up the newcomer’s storage options, and it seems there are three assortments. There’s one with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, which will be the cheapest, but 4GB RAM is barely cutting it if you plan to use more than one app simultaneously.

The second option is 6/128GB, and the third is 8/256GB. These are much more usable options. Spark 50 5G specs are a secret, but if they are building on the older Spark 40 5G’s hardware, we may see another device built around a Dimensity chip and a 720p screen.

The older version had a Dimension 6400+ silicon and a 6.75” IPS LCD with only 720p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone itself was entry-level, but they only put such a powerful chip on Spark 50 to unlock 5G. And this pattern will be seen in the next version again.

Spark 40 had a 5MP selfie and a 50MP rear camera. There was an infrared remote option on that device and a side fingerprint as well. There was a 6,000 mAh battery, and it had 18W charging backup. We’ll soon know how closely the Spark 50 5G will follow its roots. Keep watching the news for updates.
