Pre-orders are live for the Tecno Camon 50 Pro in Pakistan. They shared a reservation link on social media. But the price hasn’t been confirmed yet, so these are essentially blind pre-orders. So far, they’ve had 10,000 early bookings and counting. The shipment was supposed to begin on March 28th, but now the date has been revised to April 5th.
Each pre-order gets you a free Rs 10,000-worth Tecno smartwatch and a free screen insurance for 365 days. Plus, you are automatically signed up for a lucky draw of a REVOO Y06 E-bike. This is what we know about the Tecno Camon 50 Pro that’s coming to Pakistan.
Tecno Camon 50 Pro for the local market is a 4G variant. You are looking at a Helio G200 chip here. Typically, we would’ve put this phone in the same category as the Infinix Note 60 Pro, but that device has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and 5G support. The Camon 50 Pro will be much cheaper with lower performance. Here, you can see Tecno mobile prices of all the latest devices, with a strong focus on budget-friendly and mid-range devices.
The camera deco shows four lenses. The fourth lens is probably for the Infrared remote. One of the cameras has a 50MP main sensor, right next to another 50MP telephoto shooter with 3X optical zoom. The third lens contains an 8MP ultrawide camera.
Tecno Camon 50 Pro has a small punch hole on the screen to hide a 32MP selfie snapper. Speaking of the screen, there’s a huge 6.78” curved AMOLED display here. The newcomer’s refresh rate hits 144Hz at a 1.5K resolution. And the chip can handle that clock speed just fine.
The operating system on Tecno Camon 50 Pro is their own HiOS 16, which is a custom skin on top of Android 16. We’ll be seeing at least three years of OS updates on this handset. 8/256GB is the only memory trim in Pakistan for the Tecno Camon 50 Pro 4G.
This device has a plastic build, but it’s durable enough with an IP69K rating. It even has the Military Grade SGS 3-star drop safety rating. It’s a 7.4mm thin design. Yet the phone still has a large 6150mAh battery. It plugs into a 45W charging kit. The pre-orders are open for a limited time, by the way. The countdown will hit zero in eight days. We’ll probably hear about the pricing around that time. Keep watching the news for updates.
