Get ready, Pakistan! The long-awaited Camon 20 series is making its grand debut in the country this month, with the base model, the Tecno Camon 20, set to hit the shelves on August 7th. Camon 20 Pro and Camon 20 Premier will join the ranks later in September. We have managed to source all their pricing details and specs pre-launch. Here’s an overview.
Tecno Camon 20
Camon 20 is the base variant that flexes a unique design language. It has two camera silos sticking out of the shell, and both vertically stacked lenses have glorified text-infused rings. You will find an identical camera setup with the base and Pro variants — 64MP primary, 2MP Macro, and QVGA sensor.
Under the screen’s punch hole resides a 32MP selfie camera. With support for an Always-on display, Camon 20 boasts an impressive 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with minimal bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio. Being the starter variant, the phone packs an old 12nm Helio G85 Chip, so expect the phone to bear slightly mediocre performance.
Paired with two Predawn Black and Serenity Blue colorways, the phone has a third color option called Glacier Glow. The phone runs Android 13 x HiOS 13 energized by a 5000mAh battery (33W Supported). Its price in Pakistan will be 53,999 PKR.
Tecno Camon 20 Pro
Camon 20 Pro, on the other hand, has a Helio G99 engine with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage at its core. It has a similar 64MP primary shooter paired with 2MP macro sensor. The device also has a tertiary QVGA lens. Identical to the base variant, the Pro carries a ring LED flash.
When facing the front, Camon 20 PRO flexes a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen bearing a faster 120Hz refresh rate, fully immersive screen-to-body ratio, and minimal punch-hole cutout for a 32MP selfie camera. It has a 5000mAh battery inside with 33W charging support.
The Camon 20 Pro only boasts two default finishes, Predawn Black and Serenity Blue. Like the standard Camon 20, it has an under-display fingerprint ID and Android 13 support right out of the box. The phone’s price will start at 60,999 PKR.
Tecno Camon 20 Premier
As the name suggests, Premier 5G ranks highest in the entire foray of Camon 20 devices. The camera configuration under its pentagonal module is a sight to behold. It starts with an RGBW primary 50MP camera, equipped with a 23mm f/1.8 lens and sensor-shift OIS, featured side-by-side with a 108MP 13mm f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with auto-focus and macro support.
Then comes a tertiary 2MP sensor providing a bokeh effect to images. The phone boasts laser autofocus technology and an octa-ring flash as the crowning features of its cameras. Lastly, a solid 32MP selfie shooter rounds out Premier 5G’s camera setup.
The company has kitted the Premier 5G phone to an absolute max with hardware such as a stunning 6.67-inch 2400x1080px AMOLED screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. With a 5000mAh battery and 45W AC, the device brings the latest Dimensity 8050 SoC. Serenity Blue or Dark Welkin are the only color options for the phone. And it will charge a premium of 119,999 PKR upon launch.
