Tecno is preparing to make waves once again, building upon the success of its previous Spark series launch. This time, the renowned Camon series will take center stage with the highly anticipated release of two new premium devices: the Tecno Camon 20 Premier and Camon 20 Pro.

Both the newcomers have their own discreet 4G and 5G models, which means varying chipsets; and, ultimately, performance gaps. Nothing formal has surfaced yet in the province of specs; however, Bluetooth SIG has listed Camon 20 Premier 5G as a certificated device, indicating its imminent nature.

Premier Camon 20 5G seems to be the highest-end device from the lineup. Signed under the model number Ck9n, it showcases support for the latest Bluetooth 5.3 module. The SIG’s file mentions nothing exciting about the phone’s features. For that, we’ll have to explore the leak verse.

Camon 20 Premier 5G allegedly has a 6-inch AMOLED display rocking a 120Hz smooth UI motion and a Full HD+ resolution count. Additionally, the Tecno Camon new model will feature a punch-holed selfie camera and an under-display biometric for security.

According to rumors, the upcoming device has an eccentric triple-lens system, with the primary sensor boasting 108MP resolution with sensor-shift OIS technology. In addition to the primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide shooter exists in the camera module alongside a 2MP macro unit.

Camon 20 Premier 5G is in line to receive MediaTek’s unannounced Dimensity 1200 engine, and accompanying it will be a massive RAM capacity of 16GB (8GB physical + 8GB virtual). With up to 512Gigs of internal storage, the phone will run Google’s latest Android 13 OS skinned as HiOS 13.
