Tecno just added two new editions to their recently-introduced Tecno Camon 17 series. Tecno Camon 17P and Camon 17 Pro debuted in Nigeria and Kenya, featuring MediaTek G-series silicon and a budget-friendly price. The series is also expected to arrive in Pakistan soon. Here’s what Tecno is offering.
Tecno Camon 17P
The Tecno Camon 17P features a flashy design, available in three color options — Frost Silver, Magnet Black, and Spruce Green. The camera and branding are accented in gold, rainbow, and silver.
It has a tall 6.8” screen with a centered hole punch and thick bezels. We’re looking at an IPS LCD that delivers a Full HD resolution and 500 nits of peak brightness. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-facing thumbprint scanner built into the Camon 17P.
The quad-camera on the back of the phone uses a 64MP camera and three extra low-res sensors. For selfies, the Camon 17P has a 16MP lens. It’s all powered by the MediaTek Helio G85, 6GB of memory, and 128GB of expandable storage.
The Camon 17P packs a 5000 mAh battery, capable of fast charging at 18W. It can starts from a Tecno mobile price tag of Rs. 33,000 to 39,500.)
Tecno Camon 17 Pro
The Pro edition also has a 6.8” IPS LCD that peaks at a 1080P resolution but refreshes at a smooth 90Hz rate. Its camera is led by a 64MP camera, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and two 2MP depth and mono sensors. The selfie camera uses a high-res 48MP lens.
Tecno Camon 17 Pro comes in more muted California Silver and Malibu Blue colorways. Its build also includes dual speakers and a side-mounted thumbprint reader. The 12nm Helio G95 and the latest Android11-based HiOS 7.6 powers this phone.
It’s available in a single 8GB+256GB configuration, running on a 5000 mAh battery. Camon 17 Pro supports 25W quick-charging. Tecno can price it in Pakistan anywhere from Rs. 40,000 to 45,000 PKR.)
