With the year’s most anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event just around the corner on July 26th, leaked hands-on images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 have emerged, giving us the first-ever glimpse into its design. Here’s a brief overview of all the latest developments.

Live shots of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 have gone viral on the internet through Reddit. While the leaked photos reveal similarities to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, eagle-eyed observers can still spot a few delightful refinements that need mentioning.

The images offer a closer look at the Fold 5's cover display, back, and a redesigned hinge, which allows the device to close fully flat now. Although the overall appearance remains similar, Samsung has made subtle modifications to the rear camera setup.

The camera bump now features denser lens protrusion and a separate LED flash. This small change adds a touch of elegance and functionality to the already perfect design of the latest Samsung Z model. It's also worth mentioning that the leaked unit appears to be a test model, as it sports several identifying labels on both the front and back.

One intriguing image showcases the Fold 5’s inner folding display, although the picture's quality makes it challenging to determine if the notorious crease is visible. The leak came from a Redditor who claims a seller handed out the images.

The true nature of the leak is still revealing itself, but the details so far look promising. Regarding design, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 focuses more on refining the existing features rather than introducing drastic changes. That is no surprise since it was also true for its predecessor, Z Fold 4.
