Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Stops by Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC

Samsung is going to Unveil a new set of foldable soon. Many speculations about the features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 have been since confirmed. Yet, we don’t know everything about the phone. However, as the time of the launch is coming near, more information surfaces on the internet.


The Upcoming successor of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is making rounds on the internet for ages. In recent days, it has also appeared on Geekbench, finally unveiling one of the most talked-about specs of the phone. The device is allegedly powered by the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC.

The listing was made with the name SM-F721U for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. According to it, the new generation SoC will be launched with the code name “Taro”, and is clocked up to a speed of 3.19Ghz which can only be possible with the Cortex-X2 CPU performance core. 


Additional information on Flip 4 suggests that we will also see a trio of cores working at 2.75 GHz and a third cluster with another core clocked at 3.19 GHz. This is expected to be powered by the Cortex-A710 and four other energy-efficient Cortex-A510 units running at 1.8GHz.


The source furthermore confirms that the Galaxy Flip 4 will feature 8 GB of RAM. As per the previous reports, the foldable is said to be working on the Android 12 OS with One UI on top. 


Galaxy Z flip 4 was also spotted on the 3C database, revealing many other pieces of information. The phone will be equipped with two battery packs with 2,555mAh and 1,040mAh stated capacities. The combined battery capacity will be 3,595mAh. Rumors also suggest that it will come with 25W quick charge support. 

Samsung fans are expecting more information to come to light before the actual Galaxy Unpacked event. We can only wait and see, but only time can tell how much of it is, indeed, true.
