Samsung's true flagships and their ever-inflating price tags have left a gap in their portfolio for the so-called "value" flagships. Brands like OnePlus traditionally found a niche in that segment, but with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung made their newest S-series more affordable. It’s available for pre-order in Pakistan now and with each pre-booking, Samsung is throwing in a Fit2 wearable worth Rs. 8,700.
Unlike the timeless-but-bland color palette of the original Samsung Galaxy S20 trio, the S20 FE comes in five different vibrant colors: Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud White, and Cloud Red.

The FE's back has a smooth satin finish and the gorgeous rings around the camera lenses share the same hue. It’s more polished, symmetric, and aesthetic.
Galaxy S20 FE’s display is flat too. With the curved screen gone, the bezels seem more pronounced. But it makes up for it with a smaller hole punch, which is tiniest on any Galaxy phone yet. The SuperAMOLED screen reaches a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, much like its more premium brothers but the resolution has been cut down to FHD+. still a nice addition to the Samsung price list.
For optics, Samsung has trimmed the 64MP telephoto lens down to 8MP but the main and ultra-wide-angle sensors remain 12MP. The S20 FE setup doesn’t offer the exorbitant 100x Space Zoom seen on the S20 Ultra, but it manages a decent 30x. The selfie camera has been upgraded to 32MP, despite the smaller housing. It’s designed for the shutterbug fans, offering Night Mode, Single Take, and more.
