Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has already launched. The manufacturer is preparing to launch the remaining Galaxy A series devices, the A24, A34, and A54. The highest-end sibling, Samsung Galaxy A54, just received certification from a US-based regulator, FCC.

Galaxy A54 got indexed on the FCC database under model number SM-A546E. The document reveals many details about the phone, but its battery capacity, charging speed, and power adapter model are the most notable.

Contrary to previous rumors on the subject matter, the FCC document shows that Samsung has not extended the battery capacity on A54. The device has a 4,905 mAh capacity, just like its successor, and the chain's advertisements will round it up to 5,000 mAh.

The support for the travel adapter, Samsung EP-TA800, in the file shows that the newcomer is housing a 25W charging kit. Samsung latest A model will plug in via a USB type C port for power delivery. Its retail box will likely ship without the charger. Other details listed out its dual-band WiFi, support for multiple 5G bands, Bluetooth and NFC.

The model number assigned to Samsung Galaxy A54 also appeared on the Geekbench database last month, unveiling key specs and SoC. According to re, four of its standard cores clock at 2.0GHz, while the performance cores for the boost to 2.4GHz. With that setting and the confirmed Mali G68 GPU, it's undoubtedly carrying the unreleased Exynos 1380.

Geekbench tested the 6GB RAM variant of A54, though an 8GB configuration is also likely. The phone boots up to an Android 13-based OneUI 5 home screen. Samsung's typical launch schedule puts Galaxy A5x devices in March; that's also probable with Galaxy A54. However, we must wait for official word to break out before making a legitimate claim.
