Samsung Galaxy A52s Receives March 2024 Security Update to Patch 44 Weak Points

Samsung has rolled out the latest security update for its mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A52s. Now, it has joined other devices in its succession, the Galaxy A52, A53, and A54, receiving the March 2024 security patch across various regions.


The Galaxy A52s is now receiving the firmware version A528BXXS6FXC1 in numerous European and Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Uruguay. This update addresses 44 security vulnerabilities identified in the previous software iteration.

Users in the mentioned countries can check for the update by navigating the Settings app, selecting Software Update, and tapping Download and Install. Galaxy A52s users in Pakistan will receive the same update momentarily, and they can follow the same route to better the OS’s security.


Initially launched in mid-2021 with Android 11, the Samsung budget 4G mobile has since received Android 12 and Android 13 updates in late 2021 and 2022, respectively. Recently, it received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update, with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update expected to follow in the coming months. 

Several beta previews of the One UI 6.1 are doing rounds on the web for those curious about its new features.
