There may be a One UI 9 beta program for Samsung Galaxy A35 users as well. We’ve been keeping an eye on any and all devices that are eligible for One UI 9 and checking on the update’s progress. A beta version of this firmware was seen on Samsung’s test servers, specifically made for the Galaxy A35.
We’ve never seen Samsung beta test devices that far back. They usually do beta programs for newer models in the Galaxy A5X class or above. Galaxy A35 is two generations old. Not exactly your typical candidate for beta testing, but here we are anyway.
It just goes to show you how great their software support has become. There’s concrete proof of this beta program on Samsung servers in South Korea. A356NKSUAZZH5 is the firmware version that was extracted from a triple model string by Muhammad Khatri.
The beta programs do come with restrictions, and they are sometimes regional. The firmware is clearly for the Korean market. Is this beta ever going to leave the home country? This can’t be said with confidence yet. We’ll let you know if we see some proof.
Anyway, it’s just a test One UI 9 firmware made for beta testing on the Samsung latest 5G model. Seeing that no other device has even started beta tests beyond the Galaxy S26 series makes it pretty clear that the Galaxy A35 won’t be getting this public beta release anytime soon.
Samsung was supposed to push One UI 9 beta to more Galaxy devices after it was done with the foldable launch, but there’s still no news around that. We know that Galaxy A35 is eligible for stable Android 17 and One UI 9. Beta testing or not, the device still has two more OS updates to go. Keep watching the news to stay in the loop.
