Samsung Galaxy A24 Purported With Upgraded Camera and Battery; Expect Better Overall Specs

The rumor mill has coughed up almost everything there is to know about the upcoming Galaxy A series. But that's limited to Galaxy A34 and A54. Galaxy A14 has made it out of the pipeline, and A74 doesn't exist this time. That leaves us with Samsung Galaxy A24, and we've heard it packs some neat camera stats.

According to a report citing GalaxyClub, Galaxy A24 is quite a step up from its predecessor, A23. In line with the rest of its siblings, it carries a triple camera setup this time.

For those concerned, Samsung is dropping the tertiary depth sensor on all its A phones in 2023 since their primary 50MP sensors are intelligent enough to snap portrait shots without assistance, separating the background and the subject.

Per the report, Galaxy A24 also abounds with a 50MP optical sensor, so there's no doubt that photography on the latest Samsung A mobile will be solid. While the parent A23 brought 8MP selfie shooter, A24 plans to feature 12MP for high-res self-portraits. Whether it will hide under a drop-notch or punch hole is still a mystery.

Moving on to Galaxy A24's secondary camera provisions, the report says that users will likely find a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro shooter for multi-dimensional photography. This part is similar to what we saw in 2022's A23. A24's primary lens and selfie sensor upgrade are enough to call it an upgraded device.

That doesn't end there; Previous leaks suggested A24 with a 4000mAh battery, but GalaxyClub, a more credible leak source, says otherwise. The new Galaxy A phone packs a 5000mAh cell backed by Samsung's PD 25W charging technology. Since Galaxy A14 5G launched at a surprisingly exceeded cost, A24 is bound to be extra expensive, somewhere near the Samsung A32 4GB's Price in Pakistan.
