Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G have made it to the status quo in Asia. As expected, the phones recently made a debut in an overseas market. Other regions are likely to follow suit. Galaxy A24 4G, which is slightly higher in class, is yet to become official. It just popped up on Geekbench listing uncovering the SoC. Have a look.
Geekbench marks Samsung Galaxy A24 4G under the model number SM-A245F. The motherboard ID also confirms the product. As per the scoreboard, there are eight cores on the phone, with six clocking at 2GHz and two clocking at 2.30GHz. Assortment identifies it as MediaTek Helio G99.
Users will find 4GB RAM on the same motherboard in one of its memory configurations. The phone tested on Geekbench could be the lightest A24 4G variant. Since Galaxy A14 5G got a 6GB RAM option in the US, A24 will likely offer 8GB RAM at a higher price tag.
The phone will run up-to-date Android 13 OS x OneUI 5 right out of the gate. With the MTK Helio G99 SoC and 4GB RAM, Galaxy A24 5G scores 561 on a single-core test and 1943 points on all-eight cores. Rumor-verse recently pointed out that the A24 is a vastly improved device at a higher Samsung smartphone price tag.
Unlike A23 4G’s 8MP selfie camera, Galaxy A24 boasts a 13MP shooter. Under its primary lens, the phone now has a 50MP sensor. Regarding its secondary lenses, reports say a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens are likely.
A fresh GalaxyClub report annuls the previous rumors that Galaxy A24 will be 4000mAh in battery capacity. It seems that A24 bears a typical 5000mAh cell powered by 25W fast charging.
