Starting with the firmware, Samsung Galaxy A23 UI upgrades to version A235FXXU2CWB4, added with February 2023 security patch and new OneUI 5.1 features. Samsung is currently rolling out the new OS to Ukraine. The update will cycle throughout Europe, after which it will expand to other global markets.

Despite the unconfirmed timeline, Pakistani A23 users will undoubtedly receive OneUI 5.1. Upon availability in the coming weeks, Samsung will notify the users to update the phone by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. The new UI has additional improvements like faster animations and reduced frame skipping while switching apps or going to the home screen from an app. Users can now pick the objects from the picture by tap-and-hold, like in iOS 16. Additionally, the update has new battery and weather widgets. Its underling, the Galaxy a13 has already received the Android 13 update but we don't know yet if it'll receive the OnwUI 5.1 update anytime soon. Samsung a13's new price in Pakistan is around Rs. 58,000.
