The Korean tech giant released the mid-range contender Galaxy A23 5G back in September 2022. Unfortunately, it didn't get as much attention as it initially intended. Its counterpart, Samsung Galaxy A23 4G, hogged all the glory. The 5G edition went official globally but never made it to Asia. That's about to change.

Leak reports on the subject matter confirm that it's arriving in Asia after a few days. Today's leak even showcased the pricing details and the launch date of Galaxy A23 5G. On January 18th, A23 5G will be made official in India, alongside the new Galaxy A14 5G, via an event. Other regions are imminent to follow afterward.

According to the leak source, Galaxy A23 5G is stepping in with two storage variants; 6+128GB and 8+128GB. Per the claimed prices, the former will cost approximately ~$295, and the latter ~$320. These prices are acceptable for the specs it offers.

Galaxy A23 5G is already a globally launched device, so its features are no mystery. The upcoming entrant to the Samsung price catalog for the continent is likely packing similar stuff. With a quality 120Hz screen spanning 6.6 inches diagonally, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a rectangular rear camera module with multiple sensors.

Lens assortment on A23 5G includes a primary 50MP sensor, a wide-angle 5MP sensor, and a secondary 2MP sensor. Its processing segment relies on a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC energized by a 25W fast rechargeable 5000mAh battery.

The all-new Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, which is about to launch in Asia for the first time, is allegedly sporting 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Rumors say its starting price is anywhere between Rs. 50,000 to 60,000, placing it just below the Samsung A32's last known price.
