Codenamed 'Race', Realme's 2021 flagship series runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, a Realme executive went on record to confirm. The leaks surrounding the lineup have uncovered almost everything but the phone’s name. As the launch nears, the product has secured certifications from both Chinese and Indian governments.

Realme Race can be found on the TENNA database under the model number “RXM2202”. The product images attached with the document show a glossy back shell with a squarish camera platform and a hole-punch screen. No physical fingerprint scanner to be found anywhere, which points to an in-display solution.

BIS also cleared the RXM2202. If Realme’s typical release calendar is any guide, the Race series should launch in Pakistan shortly after its debut in India.

Digital Chat Station is a trusted industry leaker. Based on their tweets, the Realme Race will be the first to use 125W breakneck charging speeds. Realme has officially teased this next-gen feature in the past. But has the company perfected the heat-dissipation solutions needed to pull it off?

Further, the phone packs a 4000 mAh battery, 12GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Realme UI 2.0, built on the latest Android11, powers the ‘Race’ out of the box.

Two conflicting, alleged photos of the Realme ‘Race’ have been floating around on the web for weeks, but only the product image published by Digital Chat Station matches the TENNA renders. Except it wears a faux leather finish (which has become a motif for high-end Oppo and Realme phones.) The camera plate has three lenses and reads 64MP.
