Realme Note 80 is coming to Pakistan seven months after the global launch. Teasers are starting to show up on their local social pages. The phone’s best feature is a huge 6300mAh battery, and they’ve based most of their advertising around that one specification. Realme Note 80 is a pretty basic phone otherwise.
The specs are not a secret, since the phone already debuted months ago. That’s how we know the Note 80 has 15W wired charging and 6W reverse wired output from the 6300mAh cell. A single charge should last a day and a half for light users.
The drop safety is pretty decent. They got it tested for an IP54 splashproof design and a 1.8 m shockproof rating. The newcomer’s pretty ordinary on the inside, though. The chipset is a weak Unisoc T7250. The New Realme Note model actually has the full-fat version of Android 15 with Realme UI 6.
The current industry standard is Android 17, so it falls two generations behind. And future OS updates are anyone’s guess. The chip is a 1.8GHz platform with eight cores and only 4GB LPDDR4X RAM to go with it. The storage is a slow eMMC 5.1 module.
The newcomer does have a 128GB storage option in the global market, but the local variant is capped at 64GB. That’s what we see on the microsite for now. Maybe a storage upgrade is planned for the future, but let’s not get our hopes up. The design is quite minimal.
Apparently, even though it has a big battery, the phone’s only 7.94 mm thick. The screen is serviceable with its 6.74” size and a 720p HD+ resolution at 90Hz, though it barely meets modern brightness standards. The HBM peak only gets you 563 nits. And there’s a notch on the front.
The rear side has one usable camera, and that’s a small 8MP sensor for 1080p@30FPS recording. You can also use its 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It has a side fingerprint ID as well. Realme Note 80 (4/64GB) was sold for 3,599 Baht (~PKR 32,000) in Thailand. Its Pakistani price should be in the ballpark.
