Maintaining its bi-annual release calendar, Realme has the GT Neo2 lined up for launch soon. It’s the sequel to the GT Neo that came out in Spring this year, joined by Realme GT Master Edition later on. A Realme executive went on record to tease Neo2. The phone was also featured in a report with leaked product images and specs.

The prolific phone leaker @Onleaks (also known as Steve Hemmerstoffer) partnered with Digit.in to publish the high-quality mockups. They showcase the Realme GT Neo2 in a grey color. Its shell melts along the edges, as does the front panel, even though the curve is more subtle.

Reportedly, we’re looking at a 6.62” OLED screen. It peaks at a full HD resolution, refreshes at a silky smooth 120Hz, and houses the front camera inside an O-hole off-center. The camera island is four-sided, featuring an oddly arranged lens setup: 64 MP wide, 8 MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses. Selfies are taken with a 16MP camera.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 (an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 865+) is at the heart of Realme GT Neo2. It works with 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. Mr. Hemmerstoffer doesn’t specify it, but Realme new model phone 2021 could also come in a 256GB edition as well.

It’s all powered by a 5000 mAh battery — the largest in the GT lineup. Also, we expect Realme to ship the phone with 65W quick-charging support. RealmeUI 2, based on Android11, runs on the Realme GT Neo2.
