Realme GT 7 will be unveiled on April 23rd in China. The launch details were confirmed recently through an official teaser. The company also gave away the phone’s battery and chipset details on social media, but its design had only appeared in leaks so far. Today, some new teasers surface online, revealing GT 7’s design in three colors.

Those three different finishes are called Graphene Ice, Graphene Snow, and Graphene Night. As you can tell by their naming convention, Graphene seems to be a common theme here, which we believe may be a reference to the phone’s heat dissipation system through the rear battery cover.

There’s a dual camera system on the back, and the third silo is used for an LED flash. It resembles the GT 7 Pro with its boxy camera island. Then, we have a flat frame design and an orange-accented power key on the Realme GT 7’s side.

Realme recently confirmed that the GT 7 has an “Ice Skin” graphene cooling solution to manage the heat from its SoC. The cooling system is a necessary measure since the chipset at the core of this handset is an overclocked Dimensity 9400, which could cause stability issues without proper heat control. Still, the Realme mobile price is expected to remain competitive.

MTK revealed this chip on April 11th. From what we’ve heard, Dimensity 9400+ is an overclocked version of the original chip, which peaks at 3.7 GHz clock instead of the previous 3.63 GHz. With a very small margin, this SoC trails behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is used by Realme’s GT 7 Pro.

Other details that Realme has revealed so far are the GT 7’s flat 144Hz OLED panel and an Ultrasonic fingerprint reader. It seems the display used here is a BOE panel that carries a proprietary Eye-Care technology. Of course, this could be another name for high-frequency PWM dimming, but there’s no official confirmation about it yet.

Another feature we can’t wait to see on Realme GT 7 is the alleged 7200mAh battery. The company has been advertising it as 7000mAh+, trying to keep the real number a secret till the phone’s launch. But the rumor mill believes it could be a massive 7200mAh cell inside an 8.3mm build.

The company might sell this device for 3000 Yuan or ~$410 (~PKR 115,000), which is a steal considering the phone’s flagship specs and the second-best chipset in the world for the Android platform. Stay tuned for a full review after the device’s official launch on April 23rd.
