Realme C20 Might Be Coming to Pakistan this Month; Meet Realme's Latest Entry-level Phone

Realme C20 is the brand's latest entry-level phone. It came out last month in Vietnam, and it might be headed to Pakistan next. The exact C20 launch date for Pakistan is not revealed yet but the chances are that it could arrive as early as this month. It’s a mild refresh of the Realme C11 from 2020.

Save for its camera, the Realme C20 specification sheet is identical to the C11 (currently the cheapest phone in Realme’s catalog.) Since the C11 offered only the most bare-bones, low-end features, the C20 is also similarly specced and designed.

We’re looking at a plastic shell with a boxy camera plate and a drop notch. The latter extends into a 6.5” IPS LCD that fills a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and delivers a 720P resolution. C20 lacks a fingerprint scanner, leaving the 2D face unlocking as the only biometric feature onboard.

The 5MP front camera of the realme C20 has a narrow f/2.2 lens. On the back, a single 8MP f/2.0 camera is embedded in the squarish housing. It supports 1080P video, night mode, and HDR. Upon its arrival, it would be one of the cheapest new entry-level handsets in the Realme price list.

The hardware inside the Realme C20 features the MediaTek Helio G35, 2GB of memory, and 32GB of low-end eMMC 5.1 storage. Needless to say, these internals are adequate for everyday usage but not meant for resource-heavy apps and games. The Android10-based realmeUI from last year runs on the phone out of the box.

A 5000 mAh battery, with 10W charging, powers the Realme C20. The interface, however, uses the old-gen micro-USB. Storage is expandable up to 256GB, thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot. And you can pick from blue and grey colors. WhatMobile puts its expected price around Rs. 18,000 to 20,000 PKR.
