The Realme C-series is the brand’s newest budget lineup in Pakistan with Realme C15 as its latest addition. The series featuring everything from ultra-budget to low mid-range models. Realme C17 falls into the latter hyper-competitive segment, promising you the best value for your money. And it just got cheaper thanks to a recent price cut. Let’s take a look.

When the Realme C17 came out in September this year, it was priced at Rs. 31,999. It now starts from Rs. 28,999 -- after a flat discount of Rs. 3,000.

Realme offers you a 6.5” 90Hz display, coated in Gorilla Glass. You're looking at a standard HD+ panel with a hole-punch. Its competition in this tier, from Xiaomi and Infinix, has full HD+ screens if a higher refresh rate isn’t on your checklist.

Realme C17 has four cameras on the back: a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP camera for wide-angle shots, and two extra mediocre cameras for portrait and macro modes. Image-processing powering these optics supports a dedicated night mode and chroma boost. Video maxes out at 1080P, recorded in 30fps. Plus, it takes selfies with an 8MP camera, Overall a nice addition to the Realme price list.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 chipset (released earlier this year) does the number-crunching on Realme C17. A 6GB/128GB memory and storage configuration rounds it off. The battery is 5000 mAh and charges over 18W. Realme claims you can get 4 hours of music streaming on a 5% charge left if you toggle on the power-saving mode. A reliable back-mounted fingerprint reader handles biometric security. And the phone boots to the Android10-based realmeUI.

C17’s new design is yet another recycled glossy, mirror-finish on a plastic, available in Lake Green and Navy Blue colorways. Also, there’s some splash and water resistance but naturally no official rating of any kind.
