Realme C100i was announced in Pakistan today, exactly as planned. But the sales won't begin right away. The phone will hit retail on 13th June. This newcomer has a single memory trim with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. But you won’t be buying the phone for performance. The C100i apparently has a 7000mAh battery that puts others in the same price bracket to shame. This is everything you need to know.
Realme C100i is a plastic build for the most part. It won’t feel premium, but it can definitely take a few hits without breaking itself to bits. They call it ArmorShell protection with a three-star SGS shockproof rating. This newcomer also has an official IP64 rating.
A 7000mAh power pack is used on the Realme C100i. Light users can probably stretch the endurance to two days on a single charge. The bad news is that this 7000mAh cell is recharged over a very slow 15W input. It is, however, a very cheap device, so this is not something to complain about.
Unisoc T7250 SoC is the chipset aboard this Realme C100i with 8 cores at 1.8 GHz. Light tasks like browsing and scrolling are easily dealt with, but the phone is definitely not meant for heavy loads or gaming. The eMMC 5.1 storage will also slow down this newcomer. It’s a 6.8” IPS LCD with a notch at the front of this device. There’s a 5MP selfie camera on the top. There are very fine bezels around it. The screen itself is 720p HD+ only and pushes pixels at 120Hz. They didn’t say anything about the brightness, though.
There’s just a single speaker at the bottom, but it does boost the audio to 300%. The newcomer’s default operating system is Android 16, so it will probably give you the Realme UI 6 skin out of the box. There are a ton of AI features on this operating system.
It does have two lenses on the back, but there’s actually just one 8MP (f/2.0) main camera that functions. The other’s a decorative piece. Realme C100i has a fingerprint reader on the side. It even has an SD card slot with a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones. Realme C100i (4/64GB) officially costs Rs 34,999 in Pakistan, and justifiably so. You get a 2-year warranty with the handset, which is pretty rare in this segment.
