Realme C100i Pops Up on Google Play Console with 4GB RAM, Unisoc Chip

Realme C100 was recently debuted. But they never really launched the Realme C100i. We can’t comment on the state of its release yet, though the newcomer did make a cameo on the Google Play Console database. And this is what we found.

The C100i is supposed to be the cheaper version of the two, or at least that’s what the specs indicate on the GPC listing. There seems to be a Spreadtrum T615 chip at the heart of the Realme C100i (RMX5377), normally addressed as the Unisoc T615.

This is possibly the cheapest SoC in the industry they could’ve used. That means our Realme latest 4G mobile here is at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to performance. To make matters even worse, GPC showed that it only has 4GB of RAM to go with it.

It hasn’t been made clear if the C100i will use Android Go or the full Android 16 version. The latter could be bad news for such weak hardware. There were some more details hidden in the console listing. If you look closely at the resolution part, you will see that it has a 720p HD+ panel.

It’s definitely an IPS LCD. Leaks have been pretty thorough about the display specs. It’s an HD+ 720p 120Hz panel. We are familiar with the chipset, so we know that T615 will struggle to keep up with the motion rate. The panel, by the way, is 6.8 inches, so it’s the same size as the original C100.

The backlight of this panel will hit 900 nits. That’s good enough for an average user. The thickness is rumored to be 8.35mm, which is actually lower than the C100’s 8.9mm build. Then comes the IP rating. It’s an IPX4 and IP6X build with MIL-STD-810H ruggedness.

This C100i will be safe from water splashes and drops to a certain height. We’ve seen the design already, and it seems they’ve put more work into the C100i than they did into the C100. Surely, the C100i isn’t far now. We’ll let you know when the date is confirmed. Keep watching the news for updates.
