Realme 15T Specs Leaked Ahead of Launch, Tipped for September Debut

The next month is packed with high-end smartphone releases, and Realme wants a piece of the pie, too. Their Realme 15 lineup is coming to China in September, and it appears to host three devices: Realme 15, 15T, and 15 Pro. The exact date hasn’t been confirmed, but the teaser spree has begun.

The standard and Pro variants have already come out. Both debuted in an overseas market last month. Realme 15T, however, is the curious new model that’s only headed to China at the moment. There’s little to know about this device officially, but Digital Chat Station had a few details to spill.

This will be a compact phone, according to DCS. A rough translation from his Chinese post on Weibo has confirmed that it has Fruity (vibrant) colors. The entire Realme 15 family is designed to be lightweight, at around 180 grams. Since the 15T is the smallest option here, it will be less hefty.

Realme 15T is pegged at 6.57,” not exactly the fully compact form factor, but smaller than its other 6.8” siblings. To quote the leaker, “it will be a large R corner straight screen.” The leaker probably hints at a flat screen with larger corner radii to make the new 5G Realme mobile look more like an iPhone.

DCS also believes there’s a massive battery on this handset. The exact size wasn’t mentioned, but a 7000mAh battery is the closest guess, identical to the Realme 15 and 15 Pro. This isn’t the only leak on this variant. X/Twitter leaker Abhishek Yadav filled in the gaps for the remaining details.

He reaffirms an iPhone-like camera cutout and design for the Realme 15T. It’s only 7.8mm thin yet somehow carries a 7000mAh battery. If the leak holds, this phone will bring a Dimensity 6400 MAX chip, which makes Realme 15T a mid-tier performer at best.

The display will be 2200nits bright at peak level, likely based on an AMOLED panel. We may find dual 50MP camera sensors on it for the front selfie and rear shooter. This is all we have on the Realme 15T so far. Other specifications will pop up on the internet soon enough. Keep watching the news for more leaks and eventual coverage when the phone goes official in China.
