Realme 15 Pro 5G is set for launch in a week, and its images have surfaced on the internet already for an early preview. This newcomer was found in the wild with a “Velvet Green” shade and a faux leather design. It would seem Realme wants to break tradition and try something new for a change.
This kind of camera layout hasn’t been seen in the category even since the Realme 11 Pro era. As far as the designs are concerned, the brand has been consistently pushing out devices with a circular glass module on the back, except this year. Realme 14 and 14T 5G look similar to the image we’ve found today.
It seems the 15 Pro has three cameras on a raised squareish platform. The two main lenses on the side are 50MP sensors, and the third is unspecified. There’s a slightly odd look to the camera island, as it shows two LED flashes and a ring light around the third lens. Let’s not forget the selfie camera, which, by the way, is also a 50MP unit.
You can tell by looking at the image that there’s no telephoto on the Realme's flagship new model. That’s unsurprising because the Realme 14 Pro also lacked a dedicated zoom lens. We suspect the Realme 15 Pro Plus will have that feature, but there are not enough details on the internet to guarantee it. We suggest waiting for more leaks.
As for the other specs, a screen grab of Realme 15 Pro’s “About device” section revealed some interesting facts. It seems the phone is only running Android 15 x Realme UI 6, which might feel a bit outdated since the company hasn’t caught up with Android 16 OS yet. There’s 128GB of storage here with 8GB RAM, possibly the cheapest available memory trim for the phone.
There’s a curved screen on the front, an AMOLED 144Hz 6500 nits panel, according to official teasers. It also has the industry’s best 2500Hz touch sampling rate. Right below it, you have a titan 7000mAh battery, which is wired to a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip with a 2.8GHz clock speed.
These are all signs of a mid-range device, which hopefully, will debut globally with a justifiable price. Realme 15 Pro 5G will be launching in one of Asia’s biggest markets on July 24th, so stay tuned for a more in-depth review and an official price reveal next week.
