Poco X8 Pro Series Specs Dumped Online; Big Batteries & Premium Features Reported

TCL will make displays for the Poco X8 Pro series. There has been a leak that covers most of the specs featured on the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. The so-called Max version was seen in certifications before, and a leaker gave a nod to its existence today. Here’s everything we know about them.

It’s the famed Abhishek Yadhav who reported the specs on X/Twitter, so we do have a reliable source here for the details. Poco X8 Pro Max is the top-tier version of this lineup. The specs include a flagship Dimensity 9500s chip on this handset.

The D9500s has only been seen on Redmi Turbo 5 Max, and we believe the new Xiaomi X mobile might actually be its rebranded version. This is a 3.73 GHz chip. But it has modern technologies, like UFS 4.1 storage support and LPDDR5X RAM. That is definitely flagship hardware.

The Pro Max version seems to have a 6.83” 1.5K M10 OLED, which is from TCL. Its refresh rate is 120Hz only, but the HBM brightness hits 2000 nits (3840Hz PWM). They’ll probably use an Ultrasonic fingerprint reader on this newcomer, since the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has one too.

The camera on Poco X8 Pro Max is actually a 50MP (LightHunter 600) main unit. And that’s placed next to an 8MP ultrawide. A 20MP selfie shooter is found up front. The leak reports an 8,500 mAh battery on this beast with 100W fast charging. Again, we’ve seen all these specs before on the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.

Poco X8 Pro seems to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 model on paper. There’s a 6.59” TCL M10 OLED here. It pushes 1.5K resolution at 120Hz. The brightness is common on both handsets. This one has a way smaller 6,500 mAh battery, though the charging speed is identical at 100W.

It’s the 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera for the basic Poco X8 Pro, with 8MP ultrawide for variety. The chipset running on this version is actually Dimensity 8500 Ultra. This handset has an optical fingerprint reader, not Ultrasonic. Both these newcomers have the IP69K rating and boot to Android 16 from the get-go.
