Xiaomi teased the Poco C81 and C81x in one of the Asian markets today. The official launch date has also been confirmed for both devices. They are going to unveil the Xiaomi Poco C81 and C81x 4G a day after tomorrow, on April 23rd. This is everything we have on these devices so far.
These handsets will be announced in India first, since that’s where the teasers were dropped, and the date has been confirmed. But we’re certain that these newcomers will reach other countries in time. They’ve revealed only a few details during the promotion phase.
There’s a teaser with Xiaomi's new Poco mobile battery. It’s actually a big upgrade over the existing Poco C71 that had a 5200mAh battery. The new version takes it all the way up to 6300mAh, so you are essentially looking at a day and a half worth of endurance.
The C81 is still capped at a 15W input, so the charging will feel much slower than before. You have to fill a bigger tank from the same hose. Anyway, one more thing we found from the company is that the device is using a basic 13MP main camera.
Poco C81x was also found in one of those official teasers. It seems the device is a 4G LTE model that has a 5,200 mAh battery. You can see the design in images, and it’s actually not far off from the vanilla C81. The X variant also seems to have only a single rear camera.
The details are limited, of course, and there hasn’t been a lot of chatter in the rumor about C81 or the C81x. Lucky for us, the launch is two days away, and everything we need to know will be revealed soon. Keep watching the news for updates.
