Oppo hasn’t closed out the recently announced Reno 7 series for the year just yet. The lineup already features the OPPO Reno 7 5G, Reno Pro 5G, and Reno 7 SE. And the Reno7 Z 5G joined the series today.

Oppo Reno7 Z 5G debuted in Thailand at a virtual launch event. It features a sleek, gorgeous design typical of the Reno series. The frosted glittery finish on the casing, the sharp, clean angles, flat edges, and minimalist camera layout make for an aesthetically pleasing phone. Plus, the soft RGB ring lights around the camera lenses give it a unique flair.

At 173g of weight and 7.5mm of depth, the Reno7 Z 5G has a lightweight footprint. Oppo offers it in iridescent Rainbow and elegant Black colorways. The side power button doubles as the thumbprint scanner. Cardless payments are enabled via NFC. And it’s made durable with unofficial splash resistance.

On the front of Oppo's new Reno model, a 6.43” 1080P AMOLED screen is surrounded by slim bezels with a tiny cyclops camera cutout in the corner. The camera embedded in this panel is 16MP. We find an array of three lenses on the back — 64MP wide-angle, 2MP mono, and 2MP portrait. Features like AI retouching, color palettes, HDR, bokeh, and scene enhancement are offered too.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, a new mid-range 5G chip, powers the Reno7 Z. It’s hooked up to a 4500 mAh battery that can charge over 33W.

And Oppo promises a 100% top-up in 63 minutes. You get 8GB of virtually extended memory for multitasking and 128GB of expandable internal storage. Android 11 x ColorOS runs on the Oppo Reno 7Z 5G.
