The Oppo Reno 7 series dropped in February this year. But Oppo hasn’t closed out the Reno 7 lineup for the year just yet. At least one more Reno model will soon debut, called the Reno 7 Lite 5G. The official word isn’t out yet, but the rumor mill has leaked the specs and images before the pre-release campaign.

Courtesy of the publication MySmartPrice, we learn that the OPPO Reno 7 Lite has a dot AMOLED display. It’s a 6.43” panel with a 1080P resolution and an unremarkable 600 nits of brightness. Its hole-punch cutout contains a 16MP front camera. We find a cluster of three lenses on the back, housed inside a minimalist rectangle.

The casing has sharp, flat edges. But it’s a lightweight shell — measuring 7.5mm in thickness and weighing in at 173g. You can choose from the elegant black and iridescent multi-hued finishes. Oppo has bound the camera rings with soft LED lights that glow to indicate notifications.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 is the engine inside the new Oppo mobile Reno 7 Lite. It’s a 5G chip hooked up to a 4500 mAh battery, powered by 33W SuperVOOC charging. You also get 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. And the latest Android 12 x ColorOS runs on this hardware.

Lastly, the rear camera system comprises 64MP wide, 2MP portrait, and 2MP macro shooters. In contrast to its more expensive siblings in the Reno 7 family, this setup is relatively run-of-the-mill. But you can expect the Reno 7 Lite to port over the advanced photography and videography features from those models. The phone is reportedly launching in Europe first, where it will start from €350.
