Oppo will upgrade the main and zoom camera on the Find X9 Ultra this year by making them both 200MP. Digital Chat Station has found new details about this phone’s cameras and laid them out on Weibo. Here’s the breakdown of everything the leaker shared.

The post DCS shared on Weibo looks convincing, and the tips coming from the supply chain also back his claims. There are possibly two 200MP cameras on this Oppo Find X9 Ultra: a 1” sensor under the Main lens and a second under the periscope telephoto zoom lens.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra has the potential for way better low-light imaging on this new lens assortment. The 200MP Main sensor is already unique enough. But the 1” size brings it to a whole new level. This may not be too far off from the hardware Xiaomi 17 Ultra carries.

The 200MP periscope telephoto will obviously take up most of the space on X9 Ultra’s camera island. It will have a limited zoom-in function, Oppo price list, though. Probably just a 3x or 5x magnification. They’ll add a dedicated third lens for longer zoom.
10X optical magnification has been a dream for enthusiasts, and Oppo may have brought it to life. There’s a second telephoto lens on this Find X9 Ultra with 10X optical zoom, the first of its kind on a mobile handset. The native zoom is 230mm, but the phone can digitally zoom in on the subject even more at 460mm.

This leak does have some contradictions with earlier reports. The reports had foreshadowed just a single 200MP main lens and a conventional dual 50MP telephoto assortment. Their Find X9 has had these two cameras for at least the last two generations.
If we had to pick one, we’d go with Digital Chat Station’s report. He’s usually more accurate and has a solid track record. Still, we advise taking this leak with a pinch of salt. It’s better if we wait for more sources to verify this news first. Keep watching the news for updates.
