Oppo Find X9 Series Expands Globally with Hasselblad Optics & Dimensity 9500 SoC

Oppo debuted the Find X9 series in China first, and at the same time, they announced a global launch date. Now, both Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro have gone international, and this time, they are completely identical to the Chinese variants — no battery cuts or processor swapping. Here are the details coming straight from Oppo’s global site.

Oppo Find X9 Pro

This one is bigger in size and has a 6.78” AMOLED. Find X9 Pro uses LTPO variable 120Hz refresh rate, so it’s relatively more efficient in terms of battery usage. This comes with all the flagship bells and whistles, like the high PWM Dimming and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The max brightness is 3600nits, and the resolution is 1.5K.

The telephoto camera is definitely better on the X9 Pro since it has the new 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor under a Hasselblad periscope lens setup. It optically zooms to a 3X range, but you can also punch into the 200MP sensor for 10X lossless zoom. Then we have the usual 50MP main OIS and 50MP Ultrawide sensors.

The selfie camera is also plenty sharp with 50MP resolution. Of course, this is all running on Android 16 x Color OS 16, which, for the first time, has an Oppo O+ connect suite that works across Windows and Mac devices. The Pro is bigger in size, so naturally, its battery is also larger.

Oppo crammed in a 7500mAh cell into this device, which you can recharge with either 80W wired or 50W wireless input. There are dual speakers here, and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Infrared port and NFC are present on both models.

The Find X9 Pro gets the best-in-class MTK Dimensity 9500 with UFS 4.1 storage, plus there’s WiFi 7 built in. At least in the European market, this phone has been confirmed with 16/512GB memory and an eye-watering €1,299 (~PKR 429,000) starter price.

Oppo Find X9

Find X9 is smaller, but it uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and Android 16 Color OS 16. Both newcomers have five years of OS support, by the way. The Find X9, sadly, doesn’t seem to have that LTPO variable refresh rate. It’s built around a tinier 6.59” AMOLED 120Hz with 1.5K resolution and the same 3600 nits peak brightness as the Pro.

Find X9’s camera is still the second best. Oppo used a 50MP periscope telephoto here, which is lower resolution, but the 73mm 3X zoom range and OIS stability are unchanged. The main and ultrawide cameras are pretty much identical on both models at 50MP resolution. But the selfie shooter is dropped to 32MP.

Find X9 and X9 Pro both grab WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 modules with an IP69 rating against water and dust. Due to the size difference, the battery size is lowered to 7025mAh on this vanilla model, but the 80W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds are consistent across the board.

The vanilla model is a lot cheaper, but you have to remember that it has basic 12GB RAM and 256GB storage on the starter variant. The Find X9 costs just €999 (~PKR 329,000). This device may not have a 200MP periscope shooter or LTPO AMOLED, but it’s still among the best flagship phones available in the global market.
