Oppo A6x Leaks for the First Time with Design, Battery, and Charging Specs

Usama Rasool

We have our very first leak on Oppo A6x that seems to expose the battery and design of this phone. A leaker has somehow found a promotional image that hasn’t been aired yet. On it, you can clearly see how the phone looks, and in the text, you’ll discover its battery size and charging.

Oppo has obviously reached the stage where they are preparing the promotional material for the Oppo A6x. The launch must be close. The X leaker Abhishek Yadav has dug out this image early. Now it’s going viral on the internet with many publications citing the leak.

Anyway, the image pegs this Oppo A6x with a 6500mAh battery. 45W SuperVOOC flash charging gives the phone backup. The design was also revealed here with two colors. They are both unique. It seems the non-circular lenses have been borrowed from its Oppo A6 Pro sibling, without the square camera island.

The sides are completely flat. We can’t yet comment on the phone’s display because the image doesn’t reveal the front side. This is only the first leak on Oppo A6x. We are sure there’s more exposition on the way, and you’ll read more about this Oppo's new A model eventually.

They slapped 5G to the phone’s label, so it must be using one of those higher-end Dimensity or Snapdragon silicon. The older Oppo A5x had a Dimensity 6300 with a 2.4GHz clock speed. It’s a decent performer, of course, and it put the A5x on the map as a budget 5G device.

Oppo A5x had a 1000-nit IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen size was decent as well, at 6.67 inches. They got it approved with an IP65 rating and Military-Grade shock resistance, calling the phone’s build a 360° Armour Body.

The A6x may not veer too far off the A5x trail. Their specs will align in most categories, as most budget phones do. The battery, charging, and design are a good start for this leak spree. We’ll report again when we find the rest of its specifications. Keep watching the news.
