Oppo A6 is no longer the cheapest option in the family. That title should go to Oppo A6x, which was just unveiled in the Asian market. The phone apparently splits into 4G and 5G categories. One is slightly more affordable than the other. They are identical in every way, sans the chipset. This is everything we have on Oppo A6x.

CPH2819 is the A6x version with 4G connectivity and a Snapdragon 685 chip. Yes, that’s the same powerhouse used on the vanilla Oppo A6 in Pakistan. The other model is assigned the code (CPH2823), and there’s a Dimensity 6300 chip running that handset.
As mentioned, there’s no other hardware difference to tell these devices apart. The varying price might be a giveaway, but the screens on both phones are 6.75” IPS LCDs with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panels hit 1125 nits HBM brightness.

The main camera on the Oppo's budget new model is 13MP, and it’s the only functioning lens on the back. The other lens is just here to assist. The front camera is 5MP, which is serviceable, but far from impressive. At least they didn’t cut corners on the battery or charging speeds.
Oppo A6x (4G and 5G) has a massive 6500mAh battery for long sessions. The 5G version plugs into a 45W SuperVOOC charger for quick refills. The exact number wasn’t given for the 4G version. The listing only says “Fast Charging Not Supported.” Its input speeds remain unknown for now.

Both models have IPS displays, which is why the fingerprint readers are side-mounted. The power key doubles as the scanner. Their bodies are IP64 rated for full dust ingress protection and minor water splash resistance. The durability isn’t as strong as Oppo A6, but you do get a 3.5mm Audio jack on the A6x.
Both phones have been seen in Asian markets so far, either in a 4GB or a 6GB RAM option. The base A6x 4G model dropped in Malaysia, and its price tag is around $96 (~PKR 27,000). The Oppo A6x 5G has landed in the Indian market. Its starter cost is ~$138 (~PKR 39,000).
