Oppo A6k New RAM Variant and Color Hits Pakistani Stores at a Lower Price

Oppo already unveiled the A6k in Pakistan last month, so you may be wondering why all of a sudden their social feeds are filling up with Oppo A6k teasers and launch updates. Well, they’ve now deployed the new Crystal Violet color and brought the 4/128GB option to Pakistan, which drops the starting price way below the original sticker.

The confusion is understandable because they are teeing it up as a fresh launch when it’s not. But there’s still some value to be had from the new memory trim. Because of the Mother’s Day celebration, they are putting the phone on discount (from 8th to 10th) and giving away Gift Care Packages with every purchase.

It will keep the same 128GB storage, but drop the RAM to 4GB. We are already quite familiar with the Oppo A6k’s specs. It is an entry-level device by all means. The design looks premium enough, but the display is just an IPS LCD with a 6.75” size and a 120Hz refresh rate.

1125 nits (HBM) brightness is more than what a normal IPS LCD would have. It may look as if there are two rear cameras on the Oppo A6k, but only a single 13MP camera will take photos. Then comes a 5MP selfie camera on the flip side. Here’s a bit of bad news for Oppo A6k buyers. Here you can find out the latest Oppo price list with specs included.

There’s no Android 16 here. This newcomer sticks to the older Android 15 with Color OS 15. Keeping it a generation behind may be a blessing in disguise because the chip is an ancient Snapdragon 685 with Adreno 610 GPU. It may not have enough juice to handle the modern OS.

The battery is 6100 mAh. You can go a whole day with this battery and come home with a few cells left. 15W will be slow at refills. It also has an IP64 rating. The fingerprint reader is on the side. And you also have Dual-band WiFi 5 with Bluetooth 5 card. The Oppo A6k can output mono audio from a single speaker, but it’s loud enough. The base price for the Oppo A6k (4/128GB) is now Rs 45,999.
