Infinix Zero 40 landed in Pakistan almost nine months ago, in September 2024. Because of its steep price and the competitive market, the phone’s popularity is slowly fading away. Infinix has decided to slap a discount on it to renew your interest. The phone’s price has now been slashed by Rs 5,000 in Pakistan.
The Zero 40 (8/256GB) was originally priced at Rs 70,000 in the country, but after today’s discount, all you need to pay is Rs 64,999 on retail. That’s a fair deal for the specs you are getting with this model. It’s running a Helio G100, a very reliable 2.2 GHz octa-core 6nm engine.
It handles demanding games and most CPU-intensive tasks like a champ. The phone’s visor is an AMOLED 6.74” 3D curve panel with some bonus specs like Always-On-Display and Gorilla Glass 5. These are the kind of features only flagship phones had in the past.
This AMOLED has an FHD+ 1080p resolution and 1300 nits peak brightness. The Infinix new flagship model also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. The 4G model carries dual 50MP lenses. One of them sits in the front, and the other is a 120-FOV ultrawide on the back side.
There’s also a primary 108MP OIS sensor on this phone, and it’s assisted by a tertiary 2MP depth mapper for bokeh shots. The only thing this camera setup is missing is 4K recording, which is probably due to a bottleneck created by the Helio G100. But it will do 2K 30 FPS videos without any issues.
The company is trying to enhance its long-term software support. Infinix Zero 40 was their first model to promise two-year OS and three-year security updates. Since it starts at Android 14 out of the box, this device will soon receive the new Android 15 OS and Android 16 in 2026.
Software support aside, this device uses a 5000mAh battery to power all its hardware and brings a 45W fast charging support to refill it. There’s an optical fingerprint reader under the screen for privacy and quick access to the lock screen. Infinix Zero 40 is reasonably priced at Rs 64,999 for the specs and features it has to offer.
