Following the debut of their next-generation Infinix Zero 20, The manufacturer plans to update its entry-level HOT series as well. Per their naming convention, the Hot 12 line will directly extend to Hot 20. The brand is plotting the newcomer's first appearance on October 6th. In addition to the launch date, the official teasers also reveal Hot 20's crucial specs.

In their social media posts, the brand remains vague on whether the keynote will introduce a single device or multiple models. In any case, here are the confirmed details about the upcoming Infinix Hot 20 series.

For peripherals, the device has a flat 6.78-inch array on the front, spanning corner-to-corner. The panel is IPS in nature and has FHD+ resolution. In addition, the newcomer might be the HOT series' first-ever model to carry a 120Hz refresh rate. The same goes for its processor as well.

Hot 20 bares MediaTek Helio G96 core (seen for the first time in Infinix's entry-level HOT catalog), no word on the Infinix phone price yet. The CPU runs at a max 2.2GHz clock. Coupled with 8GB RAM, the phone can easily outperform numerous mid-rangers in the market. As a bonus, it can use memory fusion technology to expand RAM up to 5GB virtually using the built-in 128GB storage space.

The Hot 20 teasers showcase white, light blue, and black color options in a sleek, modern design. The new model appears to have a triple-camera setup on a texturized backplate. There is no camera bump; the cameras live individually inside protruding circular silos. Unfortunately, the exact details about camera hardware, charging speeds, and battery capacity remain a mystery.

In other news, the debut of Infinix's next-generation flagship, Zero Ultra 5G, is just hours away. The Infinix Hot 20 series will break free on the evening of October 5th, so stay tuned; we'll cover an in-depth review once it's out.
