Infinix HOT 20 Play & HOT 20 5G Rolling Out to More Asian Markets; Top-shelf Features at Low-cost

The latest Infinix Hot lineup ranges over multiple segments with Infinix Hot 20 5G, Hot 20 5G, Hot 20s, Hot 20i, and Hot 20 Play smartphones. Keeping track of which device launches where is getting increasingly difficult with so many spin-offs.


Amid the global rollout, two of them, the Hot 20 and Hot 20i, were recently unveiled in Malaysia. And now, the Hot 20 Play and Hot 20 5G are getting ready for deployment in the subcontinent. In keeping with the company's usual launch schedule, both phones will soon arrive in Pakistan, ascertaining from the purported Indian launch on November 30th. Let's dive in to see what these phones have to offer.

Infinix HOT 20

The new Infinix 5G model bares two variants the 4G also expected to arrive in Pakistan and a 5G counterpart that just got unveiled in Malaysia. The 5G edition has an IPS 6.6-inch array with well-toned Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and 240Hz touch sampling. It flaunts a line-patterned plastic case on the back, hiding an 18W-rated 5000mAh battery. 


It boots up to an Android 12-based Operating system right out of the box. It features a power key embedded biometric, a V-notch 8MP selfie shooter, and a 50MP primary Samsung JN1 sensor with eye focus, portrait & super night modes.  

Teamed with 4gigs of RAM, the new Hot 20 5G mobile carries a Dimenisty 810 chip at the helm. The built-in storage room with a limit of 128 gigabytes supports SD card expansion. A Type C port plus a 3.5mm jack is standard on both phones.

Infinix HOT 20 Play

The massive 6.82-inch IPS LCD panel for Hot 20 Play's screen features a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 processor and 4 GB of RAM, Hot 20 Play customers can choose between 64 or 128 GB of internal storage.


It contains a microSD card slot that supports memory expansion. Users will find Android 12 OS Pre-baked in Hot 20 PLAY alongside a 13MP primary and 8MP selfie camera. In addition, it brings a fingerprint reader mounted on the backplate. 

Boosted by a 6,000mAh battery, it is capable of recharging at 18W. It provides the standard connectivity functions of dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It has a 2D face unlock baked into the selfie camera for additional screening.
