Infinix is offering their last-gen entry-level Hot 10 Play for a discount. In traditional Infinix fashion, the phone has a massive battery and an equally oversized screen to match. And it just got cheaper.

The 2GB+32GB edition of the Infinix Hot 10 Play was previously retailing for Rs. 16,999 and after a price cut of Rs. 1000, it’s now available for Rs. 15,999. Here’s what you get.

We start with the highlight features of the Hot 10 Play. This phone is powered by a 6000 mAh battery. It’s advertised to last up to over 55 days on standby and 13 hours of continuous gameplay. Software optimizations can stretch that battery life even further. But given its entry-level price, the Hot 10 Play naturally lacks any fast charging support.

Next, we have the Infinix Hot 10 Play’s 6.82” screen. It has a notch bleeding into it, an unwieldy 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 90.66% screen-to-body ratio. It’s a standard IPS LCD that hits a 720P resolution.

The shell of the Hot 10 Play has beveled edges and corners, all rounded off by a glossy, plasticky finish. It comes in gray, mint, silver, and blue colors. There’s a capacitive fingerprint scanner flanking the rear-camera. It’s a 13MP sensor, joined by a so-called ‘AI lens.’ Out on the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera.

The Hot 10 Play runs on the MediaTek Helio G25 and the Go edition of Android10 — a lightweight Android designed for low-end hardware. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD slot for storage expansion, and an old-gen micro-USB port.
