Honor X9c 5G has started retailing in Pakistan with a 12/256 GB storage format. It’s dust-tight and water-safe from all angles. We get a curved screen up top with thin, uniform bezels, running on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. Before you purchase the Honor X9c, you should get familiar with its specs and pricing.
This phone has midrange hardware wrapped in a highly durable shell. The X9c secures an IP65M rating, which gives it a 360° water jet protection. It should survive water splashes, but doesn’t support full water submersion. SGS tested this phone for drop resistance. In labs, it survived a fall of up to two meters.
The company labels this design “Honor Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop Technology 2.0.” SGS passed it through a set of comprehensive reliability tests. X9c’s exterior is safe from drops and scratches to some extent. The company rubbed steel wool against its chassis over 3000 times, and the phone remained unscathed.
The thin 8mm Titanium frame is built around a 1.5K resolution 6.78” curved OLED. The Honor latest 5G mobile also has 10-bit colors, so the screen looks nice and vibrant. A 3840 Hz PWM dimming keeps the eye strain to a minimum, and the display peaks at 4000 nits of brightness with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The newcomer can draw around 66 watts of power from the wall to refill its 6600mAh battery. The Honor X9c is a bit old, since it originally came out in November 2024. It keeps up with the latest devices on hardware and durability, but the firmware takes a hit.
The X9c ships with the outdated Android 14 Magic OS 8. However, you are likely to see an Android 15 update as soon as you boot the device. The software still provides users with a comprehensive set of AI tools and a Dynamic notification bar around the pill cutout.
The rear shooter has a 108MP sensor and records videos at 4K. That front 16MP camera in the pill cutout can shoot 1080p videos. You should expect entry-level performance from its Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. The phone’s retail price in Pakistan is Rs 99,999 for a 12GB + 256GB memory trim.
