Honor X9c kicks off the pre-orders in Pakistan today. With each early booking, buyers will get “Honor Choice TWS earbuds” for free. The window will remain open till September 8th, so you have about a week to decide if you want to take advantage of the offer.
You can pre-order the Honor X9c on the official site or through a physical retail outlet near you. This is another durability-laden handset with midrange hardware. It comes with a 360° water jet protection and SGS drop resistance from up to two meters of height.
The company calls its drop-resistance tech the “Honor Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop Technology 2.0.” It tops the charts in SGS’s comprehensive reliability testing. The phone’s exterior is safe from drops and scratches. In the labs, they tested X9c by rubbing steel wool against its chassis over 3000 times, and it still didn’t get any scratches.
Reliability tests also included some brutal temperature variations. The Honor new 5G mobile’s operability range is -30 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius, which is more than what your typical daily driver can handle. An IP65M rating means it resists water jets from all 360-degree angles.
Honor gave this phone a 6600mAh battery. It can draw around 66 watts of power from the wall for quick refills. It keeps up with the latest devices on hardware and durability, but lags far behind on the firmware side. The X9c debuted in November last year, so it ships with the outdated Android 14.
The front panel is a 6.78” 1.5K resolution OLED in 10-bit colors. It’s also curved, so the screen looks pretty. To save your eyes from fatigue, there’s 3,840 Hz PWM dimming, and the screen lights up at 4000 nits brightness to help with the readability on sunny days.
The rear Main camera has a 108MP sensor, which records 4K videos thanks to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. There’s 3X in-sensor zoom on the lens for lossless magnified pictures. The 16 MP selfie shooter can do 1080p videos from a pill cutout. Honor X9c’s price in Pakistan is a bit steep at Rs 99,999, but it's money well spent if durability is your first priority.
