While everyone has their eyes glued on the upcoming Honor 20 Pro Launch on May 21st, A silent lightweight low-end contender might quietly slip into the Pakistani smartphone market without making much of a noise. Honor 8S is expected to arrive on 15th of May in Pakistan with an eye-catching design and an equally exciting price.

Honor 8S features a water-drop notch with minimum bezels, apart from the slightly noticeable bottom chin. There's only a single rear main camera with an LED provided below while the back of the phone has a double finish that looks quite unique.

In terms of specifications, Huawei Honor 8S is equipped with a 5.71-inch HD+ screen supporting a 1,520 x 720 pixels resolution. The processing power is unleashed by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, in support with a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Though the 8S will also have another 3GB/64GB variant for the Western European market, it is most unlikely to reach Pakistan.

The rest of the Honor 8S specs include a 13-megapixel main shooter at the back, another 5-megapixel selfie snapper on the front inside the water drop notch. The upcoming smartphone is quite thin at just 8.45mm and comes with an Android 9 Pie operating system with EMUI user interface on top. Equipped with a 3,020 mAh battery, the 8s by Honor comes in at least 3 color variations to choose from.
