Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reinforces his earlier prediction that Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 Pro will feature a quad-reflective zoom camera, providing users with enhanced photographic capabilities. Here’s what we have gathered about the Apple iPhone 16 Pro so far.

In line with Kuo’s forecast, Largan, the exclusive supplier of this innovative camera technology, has reportedly improved its production yield from 40% to 70% in the third quarter of 2023. This significant boost in production efficiency positions Largan for profitability in 2024.

Also, it ensures Apple's Pro lineup remains at the forefront of camera technology. Shipments of iPhones equipped with the quad-reflective camera will likely experience a remarkable 160% yearly growth, contributing to the continued success of Apple's premium devices.

Kuo's report also sheds light on Largan's strategic partnerships, indicating that Huawei will be a leading client for the company's Zoom cameras in 2024. Recognizing Huawei as one of the fastest-growing brands in periscope demand alongside Apple, Kuo anticipates significant shipments for Huawei's P70, P70 Pro, and P70 Art models.

These latest iPhone models, set to be mass-produced in the first half of 2024, will feature periscope cameras and in-house Kirin chips, marking a substantial advancement in Huawei's smartphone offerings.

Furthermore, Kuo's insights suggest that the P70 series is poised for exceptional success, with an estimated 100% growth in shipments year over year compared to its predecessor, the P60. Backed by Largon’s immense boost in production for 120mm zoomers, Apple might bear similar growth results.

Apple continues to drive innovation in smartphone camera technology. Consumers can look forward to a new era of advanced zoom and improved photography experiences with the iPhone 16 Pro series.
