Their new ZTE Nubia RedMagic 12 Pro+ features more than simple design tweaks and the customary chipset upgrade. Apparently, this is the first phone in the world that has RGB liquid cooling. That was every gamer’s pipe dream until now, but things have changed. This is what their new teaser showed.

Gamers love RGB. The stereotype is well-founded, and ZTE doesn’t hesitate to give customers what they want. The usual liquid loop now puts RGB under the glass back. The company revealed the newcomer’s design and the accompanying RGB system on Weibo.

ZTE latest nubia mobile had a single glowing blue LED that lit across the entire liquid cooling loop. But the RGB lighting on the 12 Pro+ has actually made it possible to customize the liquid coolant to whichever color you like. Not just red, green, or blue, you get other colors too.

We caught a glimpse of that RGB liquid cooling system in the video teaser. By the way, we have more than enough material to fully envision the newcomer’s design, thanks to all the teasers they’ve been posting on Weibo. There are three color options this time.

Transparent Dark Night seems to be the main color. And Transparent Silver Wing is the second option. They’ll unveil a Transparent Ice Blue color option on the RedMagic 12 Pro+, and most buyers will be gunning for that particular finish.

The design, of course, has changed a little bit. They went for a softer look on the RedMagic 12 Pro+. The sides look tapered now. The edges won’t dig into your palms anymore. The corners also appear more rounded. Even the shoulder triggers changed shape.

The setup will mix dual-loop cooling with an RGB fan to cool the chip. The cooling setup has a much bigger surface area. It’s even lighter and thinner than before. That’s only scratching the surface. The main upgrade will be the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. Keep watching the news for more updates.
