ZTE Nubia A56 Now Available in Pakistan; 90Hz LCD, 13MP Camera & 5000mAh Battery

We first saw the Nubia A56 launch in June 2025. It took a while to get here, but it's finally in Pakistan with a 4/128GB memory format. The price is also ideal for what it offers. Folks on a tight budget should definitely look into this entry-level handset.

There’s a red accent on the power key/Fingerprint ID, and the camera design is also quite aggressive. It’s certainly going to stand out, especially with that floating Gold color. Of course, Celestial Black will give you a muted tone if you prefer something low-key.

They may have gone all out on the design, but it’s an entry-level phone on the inside, so you should set your expectations accordingly. We learn that the Nubia A36 and A56 have the same chipset and performance level. They used the same familiar Unisoc T7200 (12 nm) 1.6GHz platform here.

The ZTE budget new model is quite new, so you’ll enjoy the Android 15 experience out of the box here. The allotted 4GB RAM might cause the phone to slow down during multitasking, even though Nubia says it has been rated by SGS for 50 months of fluency. You’ll have to take this claim at face value, though. Only time will tell how consistently it performs after years of use.

There seem to be three cameras on the back, but that’s just the A56’s design. Two of them are faux lenses, and only one is a functioning camera with a 13MP sensor. It can do 1080p 30fps video recording, by the way. And over on the front end lies an 8MP selfie shooter.

The screen size is quite decent for what the phone costs. This is a 6.75” IPS LCD device with 720p resolution. The best part about this display is the 90Hz refresh rate, which is usually missing on sub-entry-level phones. They say it peaks at 500 nits of brightness — a serviceable quality for indoor usage.

There’s a 5000mAh battery here that you plug into a 10W adapter. Then we have a single band 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2. The only variant you can buy in Pakistan has 4GB physical RAM (virtual 8GB expansion) and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The Nubia A56 stock is being delivered to Pakistan by Siccotel, and their official listing confirms a Rs 21,999 price tag for it.
