The global launch also included 4G Redmi Note 15 and 15 Pro variants, which will surely enter Pakistan later on. The official international debut just happened for the Redmi Note 15 series in Europe. They’ve globally unveiled the same devices that launched in China, plus two more devices for LTE prevalent areas. We only cover the Pro devices here. There’s a separate post coming for the vanilla options.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro+
This phone is the best part of the series, and certainly sets the tone for the whole family. Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus carries the fastest chipset of them all. There’s a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 built in. You should consider this phone a pure midrange performer.
This one has a 6.83” AMOLED CrystalRes screen with 1.5K resolution. And its refresh rate goes to 120Hz, which is standard. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is here to guard the panel. We even have screen-laced fingerprint ID on each handset. By the way, 3200nits is the maximum brightness on all three devices here.
There’s only a 6500mAh battery here, which is a bit smaller than the standard Pro 5G. But Note 15 Pro+ is the only model in the lineup with a 100W charging speed. The camera setup doesn’t have a telephoto here, in case you were comparing it to the Chinese model. The Main shooter is 200MP (4x and 2x in-sensor zoom) with 8MP Ultrawide. There’s also a tiny 2MP macro here.
We see a 32MP selfie camera on the screen and a fingerprint ID. There are two speakers on all three phones. This Pro Plus version gets an IP69K rating. The series is at least four months old, so it doesn’t have Android 16. There’s just Android 15 with Hyper OS 2. They set the Note 15 Pro Plus’ cost at €499 (~PKR 163,000) for an 8/256GB trim.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G
This one has a flatter screen and no quadcurve edges. It’s similar in size, though. There’s a 6.83” panel over here with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As we said, the brightness hits 3200 nits. And there are very thin borders on it. The selfie camera here is just 20MP, with a fingerprint ID on the screen.
This basic Pro 5G model also has a waterproof rating all the way up to IP69K. The “Pro” doesn’t have a telephoto either. At least it has the same 200MP main and 8MP ultrawide setup as the Pro Plus. The phone can shoot 4K 30FPS videos, since it packs the latest and greatest Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip.
Android 15 comes pre-baked with Hyper OS 2.0 skin, and it’s all powered by a huge 6580mAh battery. The charging, however, is cut down by half on the Pro 5G version at 45W. The reverse charging is 22.5W. No Audio Jack, of course, but the Dolby dual speakers are still there. The Note 15 Pro 5G is a bit cheaper, as the base 8/256GB trim goes down to €399 (~PKR 131,000).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 4G
The screen size is a bit smaller, and the resolution is lower on this Note 15 Pro version. It has an AMOLED 6.77” panel at 12-bit color depth with a 120Hz refresh rate. They couldn’t crank up the resolution to 1.5K. This one sticks to an FHD+ 1080p screen. At least it still has the same 3200 nits brightness as the rest (HDR content doesn’t run the 4G version).
They also dropped its durability to an IP65 rating. The Pro 4G will serve you a better selfie camera, though, at 32MP. Fingerprint ID is on the screen. Dual Stereo speakers are still there. The chipset is changed, of course. They’ve used a Helio G200 Ultra chip inside this phone that turns it into a 4G device. Its clock speed is 2.5GHz.
The rear camera setup on this phone is 200MP (Main) and 8MP (Ultrawide), which seems to be a common theme in the Pro series. The little Pro version has a smaller 6500mAh non-Si/C cell with 45W charging. You can pull an 18W reverse-wired output from it. There is, of course, Android 15 running on this version as well. The price of this Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G LTE is 50 euros cheaper. It’s €349 (~PKR 114,000) for an 8/256 GB memory.
